Each ethnic culture is an integral part of Romanian society and contributes to its development through its cultural distinctiveness. We want to illustrate this contribution through intercultural dialogue which on the one hand accents the diversity of cultural values and on the other hand facilitates improved cooperation between the minorities and the majority society. With this objective we want to contribute to increased acceptance and utilisation of the multicultural state and thus to social peace within Romania, in which discriminating ethnic-cultural hurdles are overcome.
ProEtnica is a cultural education project pursuing the following objective-
The utilisation of the cultures of the ethnic communities from Romania throughout the entire society, as an important element with particular creative potential of national and European heritage, according to the motto `Unity in Diversity`.
